Is it any good?
The Y31t 5G is a durable budget phone with a big battery, for people who are hard on their phones and charge them at night. It starts at ₹26,999 for 4GB + 128GB, with 6GB + 128GB at ₹31,499, in Crimson Red, Seashore Green and Golden Mist.
It shares its 7,200 mAh battery, 44W charging, IP68 and IP69 ratings and 219g body with the Y51 Pro 5G, and runs OriginOS 6 on Android 16 on a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. The 6.75-inch screen refreshes at 120Hz and reaches 1,250 nits.
The catch is the rest of the spec sheet: an HD+ LCD screen, an 8MP selfie camera and Bluetooth 4.2, a standard old enough to have opinions about flip phones. The T5x 5G costs ₹1,000 more than the 4GB model and brings a sharper screen, a 32MP selfie camera and a faster chip, so check that one first.
