Is it any good?
The T5x 5G is vivo's battery-first phone for people on a budget who would rather not carry a power bank. It starts at ₹27,999 for 6GB + 128GB, with 8GB + 128GB at ₹30,999 and 8GB + 256GB at ₹34,999, in Cyber Green, Star Silver and Fusion Red.
The money buys a 7,200 mAh battery with 44W charging, a Dimensity 7400-Turbo, IP68 and IP69 ratings, 4K video from both the 50MP main camera and the 32MP selfie camera, and reverse charging. vivo promises two Android updates and four years of security updates.
The catch is the screen. It is a 6.76-inch 120Hz LCD rather than AMOLED, and the T5 5G costs ₹7,000 more for an AMOLED panel, an ultrawide camera and one more Android update. At 219g, the T5x is also no featherweight.
