Is it any good?
The X8 is the sensible X8: the same 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED and 3,500 nits peak brightness as the X8 Pro Max, a 9,000 mAh battery, and a starting price of ₹26,999 for 6GB + 128GB.
POCO pairs it with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and 67W charging, adds the full IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K set, and promises four Android updates and six years of security fixes. It can also top up other devices at 22.5W.
The catch is the hardware around the screen: the 50MP main camera has OIS, but its partner is a 2MP sensor rather than an ultrawide. ₹4,000 more buys the X8 Power, with 10,000 mAh and 100W charging, on a similar mid-range chip. At 226 g and 8.6 mm, that big battery shows in the weight.
