Is it any good?
The 16x 5G is the entry point to realme's 16 series, at ₹28,999 for 4GB + 128GB, ₹30,999 for 6GB + 128GB and ₹33,999 for 6GB + 256GB. It is for buyers who want the 16 name and a promise of future Android versions on a basic phone.
It has the Dimensity 6300, a 6.8-inch 144Hz LCD rated at 1,200 nits, a 7,000 mAh battery with 45W charging and 6.5W reverse charging, a 50MP rear camera and IP65 protection. It ships with realme UI 7, and realme promises 2 Android OS updates.
The catch is price. The NARZO 90x 5G has the same chip, screen and battery with faster 60W charging for ₹21,499, which is ₹7,500 less, and the P4R 5G adds 1,000 mAh of battery for ₹20,999. The 16x's real extra is the update promise, and that is an expensive one.
