Is it any good?
The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G starts at ₹19,999 for 6GB + 128GB. Xiaomi promises two major Android version updates and four years of security updates. The handset runs HyperOS, providing streamlined multitasking, fluid system transitions, and consistent background application handling.
Inside is Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 silicon, a 6.77-inch curved 120Hz AMOLED panel achieving 3,200 nits peak brightness, and a slender 7.4 mm frame weighing 178 g. The rear dual camera array features a 50MP Light Fusion 400 sensor with 4K recording capabilities, supported by 45W TurboCharge for a 5,800 mAh battery cell.
The trade-off is an IP64 splash resistance rating rather than full water immersion sealing. For buyers who prioritise slim hand-feel, lightweight curved aesthetics, and generous battery capacity under ₹20,000, it stands out cleanly. It provides reliable everyday 5G access and sharp visual playback for mainstream consumers.
