Is it any good?
The Y400 5G is the Y series phone with the nicest screen: a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel at 120Hz, rated at up to 1,800 nits. It costs ₹31,999 for 8GB + 128GB, in Glam White and Olive Green, and suits people who watch a lot of video on their phone.
The money also buys 90W charging for its 6,000 mAh battery, IP68 and IP69 ratings, a 32MP selfie camera and a slim 7.9mm, 197g body.
The catch is underneath. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 is the same entry-level chip as in the ₹26,999 Y31t 5G, and the phone runs Funtouch OS 15 on Android 15, a version behind vivo's newer models. For ₹4,000 less, the T5x 5G brings a quicker Dimensity 7400-Turbo and a bigger battery, but an LCD screen. Pick the Y400 for the display and the charging speed, not for the chip.
