Is it any good?
The X8 Pro is the compact X8: a 6.59-inch screen, 201 g and a Dimensity 8500 Ultra, from ₹36,999 for 8GB + 256GB.
It keeps the Max's 100W charging, its 3,500 nits peak brightness and the full IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K set, and still fits a 6,500 mAh battery. The 50MP main camera has OIS and records 4K at 60fps. The battery also handles 27W reverse charging, so it can top up earbuds or another phone.
The catch is the step up: ₹10,000 more buys the X8 Pro Max, with the faster Dimensity 9500s, a 6.83-inch screen and 2,500 mAh more battery. If a smaller phone matters more to you than the biggest numbers, this is the X8 to get.
