Our verdict

Nothing's biggest battery, though the Phone (3a) Pro gives more for similar money.

Our take

Is it any good?

The Phone (4b) is Nothing's battery phone. Its 6,000 mAh cell is the biggest in the range, 1,000 mAh more than the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro, and the 6GB + 128GB model costs ₹30,999. It runs Android 16 with a promise of 3 OS updates.

The rest is sensible rather than exciting: a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, a 50MP main camera with optical stabilisation plus an ultrawide, IP64 and Bluetooth 6.0. A case and a screen protector come in the box.

The catch is what the same money buys elsewhere in Nothing's range. The ₹29,999 Phone (3a) Pro adds a periscope zoom camera, 50W charging against 33W, a 3,000-nit screen against 2,000 nits, and NFC, which the Indian Phone (4b) lacks. The 8GB versions, at ₹37,999 and ₹38,999, even cost more than the base Phone (4a). Unless battery capacity is the one thing you shop for, look there instead.
