Is it any good?
The Phone (3a) is where most people should start with Nothing. At ₹24,999 for 8GB + 128GB it has the same chip, screen, battery and charging as the ₹29,999 Phone (3a) Pro, and the same see-through design with Glyph lights on the back.
That means a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen rated at 3,000 nits, a 5,000 mAh battery with 50W charging, IP64 and NFC for tap-to-pay. The camera has a 50MP main sensor with optical stabilisation and a 50MP telephoto for 2x optical zoom.
The ₹5,000 the Pro asks for buys a periscope with 3x zoom and stabilisation, plus a 50MP selfie camera instead of 32MP. If you rarely zoom, skip it. The real catch is age: the Phone (3a) runs Android 15 with 3 OS updates, the telephoto has no optical stabilisation, and the ultrawide is a modest 8MP.
