Is it any good?
The X300 FE is vivo's compact flagship: a 6.31-inch phone for people who want top-tier software support without a slab the size of a paperback. It starts at ₹89,999 for 8GB + 256GB, with 12GB + 256GB at ₹94,999 and 12GB + 512GB at ₹99,999.
The money buys a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a 50MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto, both with stabilisation, a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, IP68 and IP69 ratings and eSIM. vivo promises five Android updates, the same as the X300 Ultra, and the whole thing weighs 191g.
The catch is the ultrawide, an 8MP camera that looks out of place next to two 50MP ones. And the step from 8GB to 12GB of RAM costs ₹5,000, which is worth paying on a phone you plan to keep for five Android versions.
