Is it any good?
The V70 Elite is the V70 with the brakes taken off. It costs ₹66,999 for 8GB + 256GB or ₹71,999 for 12GB + 256GB, and it is for people who want the V series' portrait cameras but also play games or keep a lot of apps open.
The extra ₹7,000 over the V70 buys a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 instead of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Everything else carries over: the 6.59-inch 120Hz screen rated at 5,000 nits, 50MP main and 50MP telephoto cameras with stabilisation, 4K video at 60fps, the 6,500 mAh battery with 90W charging and four promised Android updates. The Authentic Black version swaps glass for a glass fibre back and comes in at 187g and 7.4mm.
The catch is the V80. For ₹4,000 less it brings a 7,200 mAh battery, a 144Hz screen and Android 17 out of the box. The Elite is the faster phone on paper; the V80 has the bigger battery and the newer software.
