Is it any good?
The X Fold6 is vivo's book-style foldable: a phone with a 6.51-inch cover screen that opens into an 8.02-inch tablet. At ₹2,19,999 for its single 12GB + 512GB version, it is the most expensive phone vivo sells in India, and it is for people who would rather carry one device than a phone and a small tablet.
The money buys flagship parts throughout. The Dimensity 9500 Super Edition runs the show, the 200MP main camera has stabilisation and sits beside a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto, and the 6,900 mAh battery is bigger than the X300 Ultra's 6,600 mAh. It charges at 80W and carries IP58, IP59, IPX8 and IPX9 ratings, hinge and all.
The catch is the cost of folding. At 9.4mm shut it is thicker than any of vivo's regular phones, and vivo has not published how many Android updates it will get. That is an odd silence on a phone this expensive, which most buyers will want to keep for years.
