Is it any good?
Selling at ₹1,74,999 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (or ₹1,86,999 for 512GB), the Galaxy Z Fold7 is a compelling alternative to the newer ₹1,79,999 Galaxy Z Fold8. While the regular Fold8 shrinks to a 7.6-inch screen and drops the telephoto lens, the Fold7 keeps the full 8.0-inch QXGA+ inner display and a 215g, 4.2mm unfolded chassis.
You get the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, a 6.5-inch cover screen protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, and a 200MP main camera paired with a 12MP ultrawide and a 10MP 3x optical telephoto sensor. Unlike the newer Fold8 series, which drops the second physical SIM slot, the Fold7 still supports dual physical nano SIMs alongside eSIM.
The catch is the smaller 4,400 mAh battery compared with the 5,000 mAh cell in the ₹1,99,999 Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, along with one less year of remaining security updates (valid until July 2032).
