Is it any good?
The M8 Power is POCO's battery phone for the middle of the range: an 8,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, a 6.9-inch 120Hz AMOLED and 45W charging, from ₹21,499 for 6GB + 128GB. It is 8.45 mm thick and weighs 225 g.
POCO adds Gorilla Glass 7i, IP65 against dust and water jets, an in-display fingerprint sensor and a screen that peaks at 1,800 nits. It ships with Android 16 and HyperOS 3, and POCO promises four Android updates and six years of software updates, the same promise as the X8. It can charge other devices at 22.5W, and a 45W charger comes in the box.
The catch is the chip: the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 is an entry-level part. ₹3,500 less buys the X7, with a 1.5K curved AMOLED and IP69 but a 5,500 mAh battery, and ₹4,000 more buys the X8 and its 9,000 mAh. Pick it for the battery and the update promise, not for speed.
