Is it any good?
The X7 Pro is last year's star and now cheaper than every X8: a Dimensity 8400-Ultra, a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED and a 6,550 mAh battery, from ₹23,999 for 8GB + 256GB. The vegan leather POCO Yellow back weighs 198 g, the others 195 g.
It charges at 90W, carries IP66, IP68 and IP69, and the 50MP main camera has OIS and records 4K at 60fps. On paper it is still a better gaming phone than the X8 or the X8 Power. A 90W charger comes in the box.
The catch is age: it launched with Android 15 and gets three Android updates, while the X8 starts on Android 16 with four. ₹3,000 more buys the X8's 9,000 mAh battery and bigger screen, but a slower chip.
