Our take

Is it any good?

The C85x is a 5G budget phone with a battery-first brief: a Unisoc T8300, a 6,300 mAh battery and a 6.9-inch 120Hz screen, for ₹13,496 with 4GB + 64GB. The cameras are basic: a 32MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera.

It is 8.15 mm thin, runs Android 16 out of the box, and POCO promises four Android updates and six years of security fixes, a long promise at this price. It keeps a 3.5mm headphone jack too. POCO quotes up to 8GB of RAM, but 4GB of that is virtual, so the real figure is 4GB.

The catch is charging: 15W is slow for a 6,300 mAh battery, and 64GB fills quickly. The C85 costs ₹3,303 more and brings 33W charging and 128GB.
