Is it any good?
The M8x is the budget battery pick: a 7,900 mAh battery with 45W charging and a 6.9-inch 120Hz screen, from ₹17,999 for 4GB + 128GB. At 232 g and 8.8 mm, it is also the heaviest and thickest phone POCO sells.
It runs a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, gets Gorilla Glass 7i and IP64, and POCO promises four Android updates and six years of security fixes, a long promise at this price. It can charge other devices at 22.5W.
The catch is the screen: an HD+ LCD. The X7 costs the same ₹17,999 and brings a 1.5K curved AMOLED, a faster Dimensity 7300-Ultra and IP69, with a smaller 5,500 mAh battery. Pick the M8x only if those extra 2,400 mAh matter most.
