Launched alongside the X Fold6 in October 2026, the V80 brings Android 17 with OriginOS 7, six years of security updates (until October 2032) and a 7,200 mAh battery into a 7.69mm, 203g body (7.59mm and 196g in Stellar Black). The 6.59-inch 1.5K (2,750 x 1,260) AMOLED screen steps up to a 144Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits of local peak brightness, and the shell carries IP68 and IP69 ratings.
Portrait hardware remains the core V-series draw: you get a 50MP f/1.88 OIS main camera, a 50MP f/2.65 OIS telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, an 8MP ultrawide and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. Charging hits 90W over a cable, and NFC is included.
The harder sell is under the bonnet. Starting at ₹62,999 for 8GB + 128GB and climbing to ₹79,999 for 8GB + 512GB, every version is capped at 8GB of RAM and runs the mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which makes the older Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered V70 Elite faster for raw compute at a similar price.
