Is it any good?
The GT 8 Pro is realme's flagship: ₹72,999 for 12GB + 256GB or ₹78,999 for 16GB + 512GB. It is for buyers who want the fastest chip realme sells and a camera with real zoom, and who will pay ₹30,000 more than the GT 7 to get them.
The money buys the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 6.79-inch QHD+ 144Hz AMOLED screen rated at 7,000 nits peak, and three rear cameras: a 50MP main camera tuned with Ricoh GR, a 200MP 3x periscope telephoto and a 50MP ultrawide. The 7,000 mAh battery charges at 120W by cable and 50W wirelessly.
The catch is weight and the missing promise. At 218g in Diary White it is heavy, and realme India publishes no update policy for a phone that costs this much. Everything else on the sheet, from IP69 to Wi-Fi 7 and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, is what this money should buy.
