Is it any good?
The 16 Pro 5G is the middle of realme's 16 series: ₹44,999 for 8GB + 128GB, ₹46,999 for 256GB and ₹49,999 for 12GB + 256GB. It is for portrait-heavy photographers who want the 200MP camera but not the top model's price.
Over the ₹41,999 realme 16 5G, the extra ₹3,000 buys a 200MP main camera with stabilisation in place of a 50MP one, the Dimensity 7300 Max, a 144Hz screen rated at 6,500 nits peak, 80W charging and 4K video front and rear. The 7,000 mAh battery and the IP69K rating stay.
The catch is the rest of the camera system and the chip. There is only an 8MP ultrawide and no telephoto, and the Dimensity 7300 Max is a modest chip at this price: the ₹34,999 P4s 5G has the Dimensity 7400 Ultra and an 8,000 mAh battery. realme publishes no update promise for the 16 Pro.
