Is it any good?
The 16 Pro+ 5G is the top of realme's 16 series, at ₹53,999 for 8GB + 128GB, ₹55,999 for 256GB and ₹58,999 for 12GB + 256GB. It is for people who shoot portraits and zoom, and want a mid-range price tag rather than a flagship one.
Over the 16 Pro 5G, the extra ₹9,000 buys a 50MP 3.5x telephoto camera with stabilisation alongside the 200MP main camera, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in place of the Dimensity 7300 Max, 4K video at 60fps and Gorilla Glass 7i. The 7,000 mAh battery, 80W charging and IP69K rating carry over.
The catch is the price. The P4s 5G costs ₹19,000 less and has an 8,000 mAh battery, though its cameras are far simpler. The 16 Pro+ makes sense only if the telephoto matters, and realme publishes no update promise for it.
