Is it any good?
The Reno16c is the larger, cheaper sibling of the Reno16, from ₹52,999 for 8GB + 128GB, with ₹57,999 and ₹62,999 versions above it. It is for people who want a proper zoom camera without paying flagship money.
The money buys a 50MP main camera and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto, both with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. The 6.57-inch AMOLED screen runs at 120Hz, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy handles the work, and a 7,000 mAh battery charges at 80W. It carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings.
The catch is video and the ultrawide. Recording tops out at 4K at 30fps, half the frame rate of the Reno16, and the 8MP ultrawide is a long way behind its sibling's 50MP one. If you mostly shoot portraits and zoomed shots, that hardly matters, and the ₹14,000 saving over the Reno16 is real.
