V70 FE

The V70 FE is the cheapest way into vivo's V series. It starts at ₹44,999 for 8GB + 128GB and tops out at ₹51,999 for 12GB + 256GB, and it is for people who want V series looks and a big battery without paying V70 prices.

The money buys a 200MP main camera with stabilisation, a 6.83-inch 120Hz screen, a 7,000 mAh battery with 90W charging and IP68 and IP69 ratings. The Northern Lights Purple version has a back that glows faintly in the dark after time in the light, which is either delightful or slightly much, depending on taste.

The catch is everything around that camera. There is no telephoto, the ultrawide is 8MP, the Dimensity 7360-Turbo is the same chip as in the cheaper S2, and the screen's 1,900 nits is well short of the V70's 5,000 nits. vivo also promises years of security updates rather than a set number of Android versions.
