Is it any good?
Starting at ₹44,999 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (or ₹48,999 for 8GB + 256GB and ₹54,499 for 12GB + 256GB), the Galaxy A56 5G makes the newer ₹62,999 Galaxy A57 5G very hard to justify. Both phones share the same March 2032 security update cutoff, the same 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro camera setup, and the same 2.9GHz octa-core CPU speeds.
It pairs a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED screen (1,200 nits) with a metal frame, Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both sides, an IP67 rating, eSIM support, stereo speakers, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Samsung promises six generations of OS upgrades alongside six years of security patches.
The catch is that ₹44,999 still buys no optical telephoto lens and no microSD card slot, and only three of the six listed colours (Awesome Olive, Awesome Midnight Blue, and Awesome Violet Glow) are currently in stock.
