Is it any good?
Sold in a single 4GB + 64GB version at ₹15,999, the Y05 upgrades the cheaper T5e with a larger 6,500 mAh battery, a smoother 120Hz refresh rate on its 6.74-inch HD+ (1,600 x 720) LCD, and IP65 dust and water resistance. It ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and includes a dedicated microSD slot supporting up to 2TB cards.
The core hardware, however, remains strictly entry-level: it is a 4G VoLTE handset powered by a 1.8GHz Unisoc T7225 octa-core processor, paired with 15W wired charging, an 8MP f/2.0 rear camera and a 5MP f/2.2 front camera in a 209g, 8.39mm body.
At ₹15,999 it sits only ₹1,000 below the 5G-capable T4 Lite 5G (₹16,999) and ₹2,000 below the T5 Lite 44W 5G (₹17,999), both of which give you 5G connectivity, a much faster Dimensity 6300 chip and a 50MP main camera.
