Is it any good?
The Vibe 5G is HMD's most affordable 5G handset in India, priced at ₹8,999 for 4GB + 128GB. It is for first-time 5G buyers who want a simple everyday phone for well under ₹10,000.
The ₹8,999 price tag provides a Unisoc T760 processor, 128GB of internal storage, a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging, and dual speakers. On the back sits a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor and a rear notification light, backed by an 8MP selfie shooter. HMD includes an 18W charger, jelly case, and USB-C cable in the box.
The trade-off comes in display clarity and network support. The 6.67-inch screen is limited to HD+ resolution, and the Wi-Fi chip tops out at older 802.11n speeds. Software coverage covers quarterly security patches until September 2027 with no guaranteed Android upgrades.
