Is it any good?
The A100 Pro is itel's tough budget phone for buyers who shop in person: ₹9,199 for 3GB + 64GB or ₹10,999 for 4GB + 64GB, sold through itel's retail stores. It suits a first smartphone or a parent's phone, where a big screen and survival matter more than speed.
The money buys a 6.56-inch HD+ screen at 90Hz, a Unisoc T7100, a 5,000 mAh battery, an 8MP main camera, side fingerprint unlock, a DTS-tuned speaker, an infrared blaster and itel's UltraLink calling over Bluetooth when there is no signal. itel says it meets the MIL-STD-810H toughness standard too.
The catch is the Zeno 100 Pro. itel lists the same chip, screen, battery, cameras and colours for it, and its 3GB + 64GB version costs ₹8,599, ₹600 less. Charging at 10W is slow for a 5,000 mAh battery, and ₹1,800 extra for 1GB more RAM is a steep step up.
