Is it any good?
The Vibe2 Pro 5G is HMD's step-up budget 5G phone for India, starting at ₹16,599 for 6GB + 128GB. It sits above the regular Vibe2 5G for buyers who want sharper visuals and faster refills while keeping the big battery and clean software.
That money buys a 6.78-inch 120Hz FHD+ screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, and a 6,000 mAh battery with 33W charging over USB-C. Imaging relies on a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor with a 2MP macro lens, alongside a 13MP selfie camera. The phone ships with Android 16, supports microSD cards up to 512GB, and includes a 33W charger and jelly case in the box. Stepping up to 8GB of RAM costs ₹17,699.
The catch is the short software support and chunky build. HMD promises two years of quarterly security patches and no version upgrades, so it stays on Android 16. At 9.3mm thick, it is also on the heavier side, and HMD lists no IP rating against water.
