Is it any good?
At 5.64 mm thick and 165 grams, the iPhone Air is the thinnest and lightest big-screen iPhone Apple makes, wrapping a 6.5-inch 120Hz OLED display in a titanium frame with Ceramic Shield on both sides. However, Apple raised its India starting price from ₹119,900 at launch to ₹149,900 today for 256GB, putting it dangerously close to the ₹164,900 iPhone 18 Pro.
On paper, you give up a lot to shave off three millimetres. There is only a single 48MP rear camera with no ultrawide or telephoto lens, a single built-in speaker instead of stereo, a slower USB 2 port, eSIM-only activation with no physical nano-SIM slot, and a 27-hour video playback rating that trails the cheaper iPhone 17.
You still get the A19 Pro chip, an 18MP front camera, Wi-Fi 7, and IP68 water resistance, so the basics are fast and modern. Buy it only if featherweight hardware matters more to you than camera versatility or value.
