Is it any good?
The realme Pad 2 Lite is the cheapest tablet in realme’s India range: ₹18,999 for 4GB + 128GB, and both versions have 4G built in, so it can use mobile data without a phone hotspot. It is aimed at families who want a screen for videos, school work and video calls without spending much.
The money buys a 10.95-inch screen at 1920 x 1200 and 90Hz, MediaTek’s Helio G99, four speakers and an 8,300 mAh battery. It starts on realme UI 5 with Android 14, a newer base than the Pad 2’s Android 13. The 8GB + 128GB version costs ₹22,999.
The catch is the Pad 2 sitting next to it. For ₹1,000 more, the Pad 2 gives you 6GB of RAM, a bigger 11.5-inch screen at 120Hz and 33W charging against this one’s 15W charger, on the same chip and also with 4G. Unless the smaller size or the newer software matters to you, the Pad 2 is the better buy.
