Is it any good?
The Galaxy Tab A11 is Samsung's smallest and cheapest tablet, an 8.7-inch screen in a 335 g body. It starts at ₹20,999 for 4GB + 64GB with Wi-Fi, and the 4G versions take a SIM card for data on the move from ₹22,999. It is for children, reading and video calls.
The money buys a 90Hz screen, two speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a 5,100 mAh battery and a microSD slot for up to 2TB. The 5MP front camera handles video calls, and Samsung sells a ₹2,499 Book Cover for it.
The catch is the screen: 1340 x 800 is low for its size, so text is less sharp than on the 11-inch Galaxy Tab A11+, which has a 1920 x 1200 panel for ₹9,000 more. The 4GB + 64GB version is tight for apps; the 8GB + 128GB version at ₹25,999 is the one to buy.
