Is it any good?
The Pad SE is OPPO’s entry tablet, aimed at families, kids and anyone who mostly streams. It comes as 4GB + 128GB with Wi-Fi, or with 4G in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB, so a SIM slot also buys you more memory.
The money buys an 11-inch 1920 x 1200 LCD at 90Hz, four speakers and a 9,340 mAh battery with 33W charging, in a metal body 7.39 mm thin. OPPO adds a Kids Mode with screen-time and app controls, which is the most convincing reason to buy one for a household.
The catch is the chip. MediaTek’s Helio G100 is a budget part, better suited to video and schoolwork than big games, OPPO lists no pen or keyboard for it, and its India spec page shows no charger in the box. Step up to the Pad 5 and you get a sharper 12.1-inch 120Hz screen, a faster chip and pen support.
