A tidy 4G basic phone, but ₹2,000 more gets you the POP X 5G.

Our take

Is it any good?

The SPARK Go 3 is TECNO's cheapest phone in India, at ₹13,499 for 4GB + 64GB. It is a 4G phone for someone who wants calls, WhatsApp and YouTube to work and would rather not think about chips.

The money buys a 6.74-inch 120Hz screen, a 13MP main camera, a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging and IP64 protection against dust and splashes. There is a memory card slot too, so 64GB is less of a squeeze than it sounds, and the 128GB version costs ₹14,999.

The catch sits one step up. The POP X 5G costs ₹2,000 more and adds 5G, a 6,500 mAh battery and 45W charging, and its 4GB + 128GB version is only ₹500 more than this phone's. It also runs Android 16 where this one has Android 15. Unless every rupee counts, start there.
