The screen is a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED with a 144Hz refresh rate and a rated 4,500 nits peak, behind Gorilla Glass 7i. The chip is a MediaTek Dimensity 7100, charging runs at 45W, the main camera is 50MP, and TECNO rates it IP64 against dust and splashes.
The catch is NFC, or the lack of it, so no tapping your phone to pay. The POVA 8 5G has the same chip, battery and charging, plus NFC, for ₹2,000 less, but it is 8.8mm thick, weighs 225g and has an LCD. If you never pay by tap, this is the better phone.
