Is it any good?
The POVA 8 5G costs ₹29,999 for 6GB + 128GB and ₹31,999 for 8GB + 128GB. It is for people who hate charging: TECNO fits an 8,000 mAh battery with 45W charging, and the back carries a dot-LED panel that lights up for calls and notifications.
Inside is a MediaTek Dimensity 7100, with a 6.76-inch 144Hz Full HD+ LCD, a 50MP Sony main camera, a 13MP selfie camera, NFC for tap-to-pay and IP64 protection. It comes in 16 Bit White, Terminal Green and Plasma Orange.
The catch is the POVA CURVE 2 5G. For ₹2,000 more it has the same chip, the same 8,000 mAh battery and the same 45W charging, but swaps the LCD for an AMOLED screen and is thinner and lighter: 7.42mm and 195g against 8.8mm and 225g. What the Curve 2 lacks is NFC, so if you pay by tapping your phone, this is the one.
