Is it any good?
The GT 7 is realme's performance phone for people who would rather not pay GT 8 Pro money. It starts at ₹42,999 for 8GB + 256GB, ₹45,999 for 12GB + 256GB and ₹49,999 for 12GB + 512GB, or 16GB + 512GB in the Aston Martin Green Dream Edition.
Over the ₹39,999 GT 7T, the extra ₹3,000 buys the Dimensity 9400e, a 50MP 2x telephoto camera next to the 50MP Sony main sensor, Wi-Fi 7 and 8K video recording. The rest is shared: a 7,000 mAh battery with 120W charging, a 120Hz AMOLED screen rated at 6,000 nits peak, NFC and IP69 water resistance.
The catch is the software. It ships with realme UI 6 on Android 15 and realme India publishes no update promise, which matters on a phone at this price. At 206g it is not light either. If you only need speed, the GT 7T does most of this for less.
