Is it any good?
The Blaze X brought a curved AMOLED screen to Lava's budget 5G range. Lava's store lists it at ₹14,999 for 4GB + 128GB, ₹15,999 for 6GB + 128GB and ₹16,999 for 8GB + 128GB, in Starlight Purple and Titanium Grey.
The screen is 6.67 inches, FHD+ and 120Hz, curved at the sides, with an in-display fingerprint sensor. A MediaTek Dimensity 6300 runs it, the main camera is a 64MP Sony sensor next to a 2MP macro camera, and the selfie camera is 16MP. The 5,000 mAh battery charges at 33W, and the phone weighs 183g and is 8.45mm thick.
The catch is support. Lava's software page lists the Blaze X as end of life: it launched on Android 14, got Android 15, and its security updates stopped in June 2026. There is no microSD slot either. The Blaze Duo 5G costs ₹2,000 more, has the same dimensions with a Dimensity 7025 and a rear screen, and Lava supports it until December 2026.
