Is it any good?
The A50 is itel's 2024 basic phone, listed at ₹6,499 for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is for someone who mainly calls, chats and watches videos, and wants a cheerful colour while doing it.
You get a 6.56-inch HD+ screen with itel's Dynamic Bar, a Unisoc T603, a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging over USB-C, an 8MP main camera, a 5MP selfie camera, Android 14 Go and a choice of four colours. The fingerprint reader sits on the side, and there is still a headphone jack.
The catch is the A80. For ₹500 more it lists the same Unisoc T603 with double the storage at 128GB, a 120Hz screen instead of 60Hz, a 50MP camera and an IP54 rating. Unless ₹500 really matters, step up.
