Is it any good?
The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is Lenovo's big-screen tablet for students, and for anyone who wants a 13-inch canvas without paying flagship money. It costs ₹41,999 for 8GB + 256GB and ₹45,999 for 12GB + 256GB, both Wi-Fi only, and the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus comes in the box with either.
The money buys a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a class above the MediaTek chips in Lenovo's cheaper tablets, driving a 3.5K LCD that runs at up to 144Hz and peaks at 800 nits. There are four JBL speakers, Wi-Fi 7 and a 10,200 mAh battery with 45W charging, all in a body 6.2 mm thick.
The catch is the update promise. Lenovo commits to two Android upgrades, to Android 18, with security patches until 2030, which is short for a tablet you might keep for five years. There is no SIM version and the keyboard pack costs extra. If you need mobile data, the Idea Tab Plus has 5G and a pen for ₹9,000 less, with a slower chip and a 90Hz screen.
