Our take

Is it any good?

The Agni 2 was Lava's 2023 flagship, and Lava's store still lists it at ₹19,999 for 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, in Viridian Glass, Iron Glass and Heather Glass.

It has a 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED at 120Hz, rated by Lava at 950 nits in sunlight with HDR10+ support. A MediaTek Dimensity 7050 runs it. The quad camera pairs a 50MP main sensor with 8MP and two 2MP cameras, the selfie camera is 16MP, and the main camera records 4K at 30fps. The 4,700 mAh battery charges at 66W, which Lava says reaches 50% in under 16 minutes, and the fingerprint sensor is under the screen.

The catch is support and battery. Lava delivered the two upgrades it promised, to Android 15, but its software page lists the Agni 2 as end of life since April 2026. The battery is smaller than the Blaze Curve's 5,000 mAh, and there is no microSD slot. The Agni 3 costs ₹2,000 more and is still being updated.
