Is it any good?
The Color Pro 5G is the cheapest way into 5G in itel's current India range: ₹8,999 for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is for a student or first-time 5G buyer who wants a phone that looks a little different.
Its party trick is IVCO, itel's name for a back panel designed to shift colour under UV light, so River Blue and Lavender Fantasy change shade in sunlight. Underneath sit a MediaTek Dimensity 6080, a 6.56-inch HD+ screen at 90Hz, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP selfie camera and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging.
The catch is age. It launched in 2024 on Android 13, and itel publishes no update promise. For ₹300 more, the Zeno 5G brings the Dimensity 6300, a 120Hz screen and an IP54 rating, though with 4GB of RAM instead of 6GB.
