Is it any good?
The 13-inch MacBook Air with M5 starts at ₹1,49,900 with 16GB unified memory and 512GB storage. It suits frequent travellers, students and office professionals who want a thin laptop for typing, spreadsheets and multi-tasking.
The baseline price buys an Apple M5 chip with a 10-core CPU and an 8-core GPU, a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display at 2560 x 1664 and MagSafe 3 charging. Apple rates it at up to 18 hours of video streaming from a 53.8 Wh battery, while keeping total weight to 1.23 kg and thickness to 11.3mm.
The catch is that the screen stays at 60Hz with no ProMotion, and you get only two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Anyone needing multiple fast drives or higher refresh rates will feel those limits quickly.
