Is it any good?
The 15-inch MacBook Air with M5 costs ₹1,79,900 for 16GB unified memory and 512GB storage. It is aimed at home and office users who want a spacious screen for spreadsheets, coding or watching films without stepping into the heavier MacBook Pro line.
That ₹1,79,900 outlay buys a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display at 2880 x 1864, an Apple M5 chip with a 10-core GPU, and an upgraded six-speaker sound system with force-cancelling woofers. Apple rates it at up to 18 hours of video streaming on its 66.5 Wh battery, bundled with a 35W Dual USB-C charger.
The catch is that ₹1,79,900 still buys a 60Hz, 500-nit screen, and the port selection remains just two Thunderbolt 4 sockets. You also gain 280 g over the 13-inch Air without picking up an SD card slot or HDMI port.
