Is it any good?
The Blaze 5G is listed on Lava's store in three versions: ₹10,999 for 4GB + 128GB, ₹11,999 for 6GB + 128GB and ₹12,999 for 8GB + 128GB, in Glass Green and Glass Blue.
A MediaTek Dimensity 700 runs a 6.5-inch HD+ screen at 90Hz. The back has a 50MP main camera with a 2MP and a VGA lens, and Lava rates video at 2K with electronic stabilisation; the selfie camera is 8MP. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 15W charging, though the box holds a 12W charger. It weighs 207g and is 8.9mm thick, and the microSD slot shares a tray with the second SIM.
The catch is support. Lava's software page lists the Blaze 5G as end of life, with its last update to Android 14 and security updates ended in January 2025. The Blaze 2 5G starts ₹500 lower with a Dimensity 6020 and an 18W charger, and Lava kept updating it until September 2025.
