Our take

Is it any good?

The Zeno 300 is a no-frills phone built around one number: a 6,000 mAh battery, the biggest itel sells in India right now. At ₹9,649 for 4GB + 64GB, it is for someone who hates charging, wants something that shrugs off knocks, and does not care much about cameras.

That battery charges at 18W over USB-C. The rest is basic but sensible: a 6.56-inch HD+ screen at 90Hz, Android 16 Go, an infrared blaster for the TV and AC, and itel's UltraLink calling, which connects two nearby itel phones over Bluetooth when there is no signal. itel also rates it to the MIL-STD-810H toughness standard.

The catch is the camera and the chip. You get an 8MP main camera and a 5MP selfie camera, and itel India does not even name the processor on the page, which tells you where the priorities lie. It also costs ₹1,350 less than the A300C, which lists the same battery, screen and memory.
