Is it any good?
The Virat V1 Pro 5G is Lava's no-nonsense budget 5G phone. It comes in one version, 6GB + 128GB, runs clean Android 16 without ads, and Lava promises one upgrade, to Android 17, with two years of software support. It suits buyers who mostly call, scroll and stream.
The money buys a 6.745-inch screen at 120Hz, a 6nm Unisoc T8200 chip and a 6,000 mAh battery, the same capacity as the Virat Curve's. There is a 50MP main camera, an 8MP selfie camera, a headphone jack, IP64 protection against dust and splashes, and a microSD slot for cards up to 1TB, though it shares a tray with the second SIM.
The catch is the screen and the charger. HD+ means 1600 x 720 pixels spread over 6.745 inches, which on paper is 260 pixels per inch against 394 on the Virat Curve's Full HD+ panel. And at 18W, Lava's own figure for a full charge is 160 minutes.
