Is it any good?
The Redmi Pad 2 is Xiaomi's budget tablet for reading, video playback and classroom study. It starts at ₹17,999 for 4GB + 128GB with Wi-Fi, and ₹18,999 with 4G mobile connectivity, with configurations climbing to ₹23,999 for 8GB + 256GB with 4G.
The money buys an 11-inch 2.5K IPS screen running at up to 90Hz, four speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a 9,000 mAh battery that charges at 18W, with a 15W charger in the box. Performance comes from MediaTek's Helio G100-Ultra chip, with microSD expansion supported up to 2TB.
The catch is charging and speed: 18W is slow for a 9,000 mAh battery, and the cellular versions are 4G, not 5G. If you want a faster Snapdragon chip and a bigger 12.1-inch 120Hz screen, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro costs ₹10,000 more at ₹27,999 with Wi-Fi, or ₹29,999 with 5G.
