Our take

Is it any good?

The GT 30 5G+ is the cheaper way into Infinix's GT gaming line. It is listed at ₹21,999 for 8GB + 128GB and ₹23,999 for 8GB + 256GB, in Pulse Green, Cyber Blue and Blade White.

It keeps what makes the GT 30 Pro fun: the 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED at up to 144Hz under Gorilla Glass 7i, and the mechanical shoulder triggers. A MediaTek Dimensity 7400 does the work, the 5,500 mAh battery charges at 45W, and the cameras are a 64MP main and an 8MP ultrawide. It is 7.99mm thick, weighs 187g and is IP64 rated.

The savings come from the chip and the extras. The Dimensity 7400 is a clear step below the Pro's Dimensity 8350 Ultimate in heavy games, the main camera has no optical stabilisation, and there is no wireless charging. Infinix promises two Android upgrades and three years of security patches, starting from Android 15.
