Is it any good?
The realme 16 5G is a selfie phone first: it has a 50MP front camera and a small mirror on the back, so you can frame selfies with the main camera. It costs ₹41,999 for 8GB + 128GB, ₹43,999 for 256GB and ₹47,999 for 12GB + 256GB.
Beyond the mirror you get a 6.57-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen rated at 4,200 nits peak, a 7,000 mAh battery with 60W charging, IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, and a light 183g body that is 8.1mm thick. The chip is the Dimensity 6400 Turbo.
The catch is the price. The 15T 5G has the same screen size, battery, charging and 50MP selfie camera for ₹27,999, and the P4s 5G gives you the faster Dimensity 7400 Ultra and 8,000 mAh for ₹34,999. Unless the mirror matters, the money goes further elsewhere in realme's range, and there is no published update promise.
