Is it any good?
The 16-inch MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR starts at ₹4,09,900 with the M5 Pro chip, 24GB unified memory and a 1TB SSD. It suits video editors, colourists and 3D artists who require tandem OLED contrast and touch interaction on a large screen.
The spend buys a 16.3-inch tandem OLED display at 3472 x 2266 with 120Hz ProMotion, 2,000 nits peak brightness and three Thunderbolt 5 ports. Apple rates the 100 Wh battery at up to 24 hours of video streaming, housed in a 1.82 kg body with a 140W charger.
The catch is that stepping up to the M5 Max chip trims battery life to 22 hours and raises weight to 1.84 kg. At 1.82 kg, it is also still a substantial carry, with no legacy USB-A ports on either side.
